Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Last updated: October 2026

1. What We Collect

We only collect the information needed to operate the platform. When you register you provide your name, email address, mobile number, school, city, state, country and, depending on your role, class (students) or designation and subject taught (teachers).

  • Passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes — no one, including us, can read them.
  • Contact messages you send via the contact form (name, email, subject, message) are stored so we can respond.
  • Your IP address is recorded alongside a contact-form message and when you sign in. We use it for rate limiting, to prevent abuse and automated spam, and for security auditing. It is not used for marketing.
  • Usage analytics — basic, non-identifying information about how pages and tools are used.

2. Why We Collect It

  • To create and manage your account, and to verify your email address during registration.
  • To send important emails you asked for, such as password-reset links.
  • To improve the platform and keep it secure.
  • To respond to messages you send us.

3. What We Do NOT Do

  • We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
  • We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not display your full contact details publicly.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. For guest tool usage, a small counter is kept in your browser's local storage. Some resources (fonts, icons, rich-text editing) are loaded from CDN services, which may set their own network-level information.

5. Security

We apply HTTPS where available, hash passwords, use per-request CSRF protection, rate-limit logins, and restrict direct access to private storage folders. No security measure is perfect, but we review our practices regularly.

6. Your Choices

  • You may contact us to correct or update your account details.
  • You may request deletion of your account and the data we hold about you (subject to records we must retain for security/legal reasons).
  • You can stop receiving transactional emails at any time by managing your account.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
